Sable Mining currently has exposure to the coal market through its major interests in Delta Mining Consolidated Ltd, a South African based coal company which has coal projects in South Africa and Botswana, and Monaf Investments (Private) Ltd, which owns the Lubu Coal concession in the Bulawayo Mining District of Zimbabwe.

The project portfolio is primarily located in recognised coal districts, with established infrastructure and communications.  Sable Mining has active development plans for the coal portfolio with the intention of achieving production across multiple operations.  The first production is likely to be from the Rietkuil Project in South Africa, which is targeted for 2011.

The Company remains active in identifying additional coal projects which fit its investment criteria for accruing assets.
